The Little Litter Warriors program is designed to highlight community litter pollution through a fun and engaging litter pick. Following Covid-19 guidelines.

What's on Offer

The Little Litter Warriors program is designed to highlight community litter pollution through a fun and engaging litter pick or hunt.
The children learn first-hand about their local environment and the impact litter has on the wildlife, marine life, and their community areas. I bring along vintage litter to visually impact the need for change in human behaviours. I have personally found these items whilst litter picking, and the children can see how litter can remain in our environment for many years to come when littered.
The oldest piece I've collected dates back to 1928!.
A questionnaire tick list is supplied to highlight how many crisps packets, drink bottles, sweet wrappers etc have been collected during the litter pick activity.
We have lots of fun searching for an old piece of litter that the children can use in a show and tell activity in school with other year groups.

Litter pick outdoor activity

This is a 90 minute outdoor litter pick workshop following  government covid-19 safety guidelines. Depending on the children ages litter picks activities can take place in school grounds or around the schools local community areas.

Classroom activity

Only available for Wychavon schools.

Litter heroes Ambassador

Sessions are lead by Karen Blanchfield a litter heroes ambassador for Keep Britain Tidy. Experienced in taking children on litter picks Karen engages the children with litter challenges  throughout her visit that will leave the children talking about litter picking for days.
"Thanks again for a fantastic workshop on Thursday, the children are still talking about it now and haven’t stopped litter picking ever since! The crisp packet Tom found from 1981 has become the most treasured item in our school, what a great way to teach and motivate the youth of today to pick up littler!"
Mr Martin, Abbey Park Primary school
"Thank you so much for yesterday the children really enjoyed it and carried on picking at lunch time too"
Mr Martin, Ombersley endowed first school
