STAFF WORKSHOP

Working with businesses to keep our communities safe, clean and tidy!

With global warming, carbon emissions, and environmental concerns at the forefront of our minds, addressing litter within our workplace can significantly reduce the impact on the local community environment. Through my volunteering efforts with forecourts and supermarket employees, I observed a missed opportunity to educate younger generations and businesses on how they can support their community.

In 2021, we launched the Little Litter Warriors interactive educational programme in collaboration with Wychavon District Council to tackle litter issues within our community and highlight the impact on the environment both today and in the future.

We are now extending the programme to companies of all sizes to address the issue, raise awareness, and change waste management behaviours before they become larger problems. The Corporate STAFF Workshop includes an informative presentation followed by a group-led onsite litter-picking activity that helps companies understand their litter management needs and fosters pride in workplace practices.

The workshop emphasizes the importance of implementing a litter management routine. This programme is ideal for supermarkets, depot sites, forecourts, parking spaces, and companies engaged in community areas.
